DCCS: Going the Extra Mile!
Welcome to the DC Capital Striders! We are a community of runners mainly in Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland. We believe in running in a supportive, non-competitive environment; supporting the environment; hosting charity events and volunteering at community races.
We provide free weekly group runs open to all paces and ability levels all around the Washington DC region led by knowledgeable group hosts, information on running events in the community, and opportunity to meet and make new running buddies.
We provide a platform to share community running events, local track workouts, other run clubs, races, and fitness/strength/recovery centers.
